I'm usually very attracted to simple architecture that looks more functional than attention grabbing. And Tokyo has a lot of those nondescript yet strong-looking buildings. Japanese are just so good at expressing good design sense in an unassuming way. Which is a trait I find very attractive.

Hi Mian, I just came back from Japan and it was so much fun! The food and culture was awesome and I love the whole vibe it projects. I went to Tokyo, Osaka and took one day to go to Kyoto. Of course, Tokyo took my heart away...it was the nicest place...even shopping at their foodmarts and buying tees from Muji was such an exhilarating experience! Maybe it was the holiday mood...anyway I will want to go back there soon.
